Artwork guide
A clear specification helps avoid surprises at production size.
File formats
Print-ready PDF is preferred. AI, EPS, PSD, TIFF and high-resolution JPG files can be supplied for review. Keep logos and text as vectors where possible; outline fonts or embed them, and embed linked images.
Size and image resolution
Prepare artwork at the ordered finished size, or clearly mark the scale. Aim for at least 150 DPI for raster images at final print size. At 1:2 scale, use 300 DPI; at 1:4, use 600 DPI. Increasing the DPI setting alone does not restore detail to a low-resolution image.
Check the details
Review spelling, contact details and image sharpness at the intended output size. Keep essential text away from edges, hems, pockets and fixing points. Use the product-specific template and confirm the required bleed and safe area for the selected finish; avoid important content near trims, seams, hems, pockets and grommets rather than assuming one allowance fits every product.
Colour and approval
CMYK artwork is recommended. Screens and printed materials can look different. Flag any critical brand colour for review when discussing the job. Confirm the final artwork, dimensions, orientation and finishing before production.
When to provide your file
No file is needed for an inquiry: printing is quoted from dimensions, material, quantity and finishing. After the price and payment are confirmed, provide the print file for proof approval before production and dispatch. File transfer and payment are arranged separately, not processed by this website.
Design assistance
Optional design service starts from $100. The final fee is confirmed after reviewing your requirements and is itemized separately. Quantity discounts apply to printing and finishing, not design.
